Our Story

Shega Communication and Peace Building Charity Association is an Ethiopian non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering peace, reconciliation, and sustainable development across Ethiopia. Founded in June 2025, Shega was established in response to the urgent need for local, community-driven solutions to conflict and division that have challenged the country for decades.

Our organization believes that peace is more than the absence of violence—it is the presence of justice, trust, opportunity, and mutual respect. We work to transform conflict into an opportunity for collaboration, healing, and growth by addressing root causes, strengthening relationships, and equipping communities with the skills to sustain peace for generations to come.
